I just have to say how much I love love the Abby Cooper now the MJ books! I have always been an avid reader & I have always enjoyed reading murder, mystery, physic & paranormal type books. Since I read so much, I have recently re-discovered the Public Library. I work full time & I am working on my degree at night...so while I have little spare time...I need a fun & entertaining read to keep me sane...so..I frequent the library on Sundays! One of the Librarians there noticed the types of books I usually read & she recommended the Physic Eye series & said I would love them. Turns out, her judgement was "dead-on"! Pardon the pun! haha! Now I'm addicted. I just finished the 1st MJ book & I can't wait to start the next...ooohh...in fact...I happen to have it right here! Think I'll open, "Demons are a Ghouls Best Friend" & get started! Thank you for these fun books! P.S. Austin rocks & so do Doxies! Happy writing & reading!

My 5-year-old daughter helps me pick out my reading material and hits on great books nearly every time. She has discovered the fun of searching on the library's computer for books about specific things. 99% of the time her search topic is her name, Abby. Since I love to read mysteries, we added that condition to the search and came up with the Psychic Eye series. I was a bit skeptical when I first looked over the book. However, I soon found I was unable to put the book down. I checked out the first book on Tuesday. It's now Friday and I'm on book #3. Love them!

I had recently moved to New York from Royal Oak, Michigan. I was horribly homesick and happened to randomly pull the first of Victoria Laurie's books off of the shelf. As soon as I hit the "Royal Oak" on the back cover, I was sold. I have read all of the books in the Abbey Cooper series (within about a week). I have also passed Ms. Laurie's name on to my mother and sister-in-law. I also passed the title on to a good friend of mine that lives overseas in Germany, also originally from Royal Oak. It is such great fun for me to be able to pick up these books and not only get a great story about really fun characters, but also imagine walking down Main Street in Royal Oak. I can so clearly picture the scenes in their natural habitat. It did me good to revisit my small hometown in the stories. So, thank you for that, it meant a lot.
It was also refreshing to find a series about a pyschic that was true to her calling, with a great sense of humor! These are great books and I can't wait for the next one.

In my hectic life as a mother to a special needs child, wife, and part-time court reporter, your stories are truly a breath of fresh air. I have to admit, that Janet Evanovich WAS my favorite author, but you, my dear, have taken the top prize. I am telling everyone I know about your books and your gift. My family is from the south, where we take our "feelings" seriously, and never discount our intuition; it's helped us through some mighty tough times! Thank you, and I hope you get as much out of writing your books as I do out of reading them!

I actually picked up one of your books, Victoria, for the simple fact that I liked the cover and thought I could use a good dose of humor. I've told everyone I can think of about your books. Even the library here in Casper has ordered a couple in for me just because of the fun and education they've given me. I started a (hopefully) new career typing manuscripts for new authors. In fact, the author I've begun to work with has a book coming out through Tate publishing called, "Living in a Place Called Beautiful". And get this, she's a psychic. You've started to make me believe in the fact that all things are related. And it all started because I love to read and having spent 10 years in the military, could use a little livening up. Thank you for the humor and the informative way you pass on your knowledge. It's given me a huge new respect for my new friend. Thanks.

11) Becky - Twin Falls, Idaho
It was a co-worker who introduced me to Victoria Laurie (told me her story). I went to the website and felt a real connection, so scheduled an appointment. I have a love for reading (except the instructions, hahaha) and also picked up a book to read. Less than 48 hours later I have finished reading 2 of the books - the only ones they had at my local B&N, and am going to order the others. Love her writing, wit and sense of humor. The characters are so alive that in reading the books, I feel like I know them! Completely entertaining, I am sharing my books with my very best friend and know she will be hooked too. Thank you for writing these great books, and keep it up! You are a great writer in the midst of everything else you do! God Bless you!!
10) Victoria Puglia - Brooklyn, New York
The 'Psychic Eye Mystery' series was one of the recommended books Amazon.Com offers you based on your previous orders. After reading the plot line, I immediately purchased all of the current Abby Cooper books and read them in a week. I fell in love - with the books, the characters, the plot, everything! I can't wait for the next book(s)!!! From one Victoria to another ... WELL DONE!!
9) Cindy Kirk - Belden, Mississippi
I belong to Paperbackswap.com and received "Better Read Than Dead" in a box of books swap. I enjoyed it so much that I can't wait to read the rest of the books.
8) Annie Bathgate - St. Louis, Missouri
I was in the airport bookstore, feeling a bit low and looking for a book to pick up my spirits before my flight. Wasn't the Universe clever in introducing me to Abby Cooper? Abby is an absolute delight! I so enjoy her adventures and the fact that she is very human while also being extremely intuitive. Personally I can relate to her strange experiences and I so appreciate the way Victoria has created her. I look forward to many more adventures of Abby!
7) Ashley - Wayne, New Jersey
Around last April I decided to buy the first of the Abby Cooper series I've been eyeing and I completely fell for it. My love for the plot line and characters is what led me to buying the next two less than a week after finishing the first one. Each book would come with me just about wherever I went and not too long after I got three of my friends into the series too. I recently left the country to complete my studies and I just had to make sure I had the fourth book by my side. Abby is so real and understandable and the story keeps me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Can't wait for Crime Seen.
6) Melissa - Adelaide, Australia
I'm a librarian in Australia and always on the look out for new, interesting books; especially mystery series. I came upon the 'Psychic Eye Mystery' series whist trauling through Amazon and after racing through the first book quickly ordered the next three! I love the characters and interesting storylines, you never know what Abby is going to get into next... The books have been flying off the shelves here at the library, probably as I keep recommending them to everyone!! Thanks Victoria, they are wonderful, can't wait for 'Crime Seen' to hit the shelves!
5) Lisa Reed - Dover Plains, New York
I am an avid book reader. I keep my local library hopping with all the books I request online. My aunt told me about the Abby Cooper books, and I requested the first of the series through the library. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. Luckily my aunt bought the rest of the series, and I read all 3 in two days!!! (Thank goodness for booklights!) I think this series is great and I love all the characters! I definitely lose myself when I read a good book, and for two days I had nothing but Abby, Dutch, Milo, Cat and Dave on my mind. Even Eggy is terrific! Thanks for writing such a wonderful series, you keep readers like me in suspense.
4) Kristen Stone - Denville, New Jersy
My friend Sharon in Maryland is an avid reader and lets me know when she finds a new author that might interest me. We stopped to visit her on our drive south for vacation in August and she lent me Abbey Cooper, Psychic Eye. Well, once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. I really fell in love with the characters and wanted to know, What happens next??? I picked up the rest of the books immediately and I am now getting my sister hooked! Thanks and keep on writing!
3) Penelope Munyan - Thousand Oaks, California
My cousin form Mich. Just came out as we were going on a cruse together. She brought me your books because she knows I like pshchic and anything metaphyiscal. I was born in Detroit and left at 12 yr of age, at 49 I returned for 3 years and lived with her in Royal Oak. Plus I had been visiting every year for 10 years. She knew I would like the books and she was right, I will no look forward to adding to the collection. I will share with others and spread the work. Keep up the good work and don't stop writing. Your books are fun and entertaining and I can share them with my granddaughters because there is no graphic sex. It's refreshing to leave a little left to the imagination.
2) Symone Sullivan - California
I was at Barnes & Noble and I needed a new book. I saw the first book in the series (not knowing it would turn into my fave book of all time) so I picked it up. As I started to get into the book I found myself falling in love with all the characters. After I finished the book, I advised it to everyone! All of my friends(even my grandma)! I know they'll love the series as much as I do! Now I come on to this website to find out the current books. Your absolutely one of my most favorite authors! :)
1) Cassie - Raleigh, North Carolina
I bought the second book of Psychic Eye not realizing that it was part of a series. I finished it and HAD to tell my sister. We read the same type of books and this time I thought I had upped her (FINALLY) on finding a really good novel first. I started babbling on about the story and the characters and how Abby and Cat were just like me and her. She let me go on and on and then said, well did you like the first one? She got me and eventually asked if she could borrow the second book. So we swapped and I am currently reading the second book again, waiting to get the third book from Amazon.com. I’m going to go ahead and buy the first one from Amazon too because it’s amazing what you miss the first time you read them. Victoria Laurie is a gifted writer and I will always be a fan!
