Hello. I have just finished reading What's a Ghoul to Do and I really enjoyed it. It had a great plot, with an even mixture. It was all at once, funny, scary, mysterious, intriguing and romantic. I received the book as a present for my birthday and I will be working my way through the Abby Cooper books and anything else you write in the future. Thank you for writing such an entertaining story.

100) Krissy Clendenin - Albuquerque, New Mexico
I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing your gift with me personally. I am 45, just turned and I have never in my life read soooo much. I love Abby, she is soo cool and the way you write, makes reading fun. Thanks so much.

99) Karen - Richmond Hill, Georgia
I just finished the 1st book in the Abby Cooper series and I absolutely loved it. It was refreshing and unique-very different from the other mysteries out there. Abby is a very loveable and relateable character. I cannot wait to read the rest.

98) Miki Babbitt (aka Andrelene Michele) - Allentown, Pennsylvania
I recently finished A Vision of Murder (sorry, I can't figure out how to underline the title in this mode). It was great! I found myself so engrossed that I missed hours of sleep just to finish it. Now I have to buy the first one in the series, then reread this one, and then continue on. I'm looking forward to more sleepless days!!!! Oh, that's because I work nights. I'm also on the fence about a phone reading. I have to deliberate more on that one -- possibly after one or two more books.

Thank you so much for a new-to-me twist on the murder mystery genre. Please, please keep up the good work! I will be keeping each volume in this series to be reread at my leisure - something I only do with my favorite authors. You have entered that category after one book. And though I will keep the books, I will tell others about the pleasure your books brought me, and send them your way.

97) Alicia - Albany, New York
I wanted to write about how much I love your Psychic Eye series. My husband was deployed a few days ago and I treated myself to a new author as a pick-me-up. The next day I was dragging my son back to the bookstore and buying the entire series. It was a great stress reliever to have such an enjoyable story to sit down to each night after chores were done. Thanks for helping me get thru the first few weeks a bit easier!

96) Carrie Engelmann - Tinley Park, Illinois
Just wanted to write a quick note & let you know that I LOVE Abby & MJ! Both are great! Thanks for all your hard work, it is truly appreciated!!! Can't wait for September & March of '09 for the new adventures!!!

95) Brenda Lee Rogers - Thousand Oaks, California
I wanted to write and tell you how much I enjoyed your books! I am an avid reader of all sorts of books, especially mysteries. Lately, I've been trying new authors - just randomly pulling series off the shelves at the library. I picked up yours first, liked the cover (!) and grabbed all the ones there. In the space of a week I've read all the Abby Cooper stories available. I found myself staying up till 2 a.m. to finish the books, unable to resist reading. A good writer creates a world a reader can escape into, a reality that consumes. The voices of your characters ring true. I am carried along on Abby's shoulder watching it all and cheering her along. Very well done. Keep writing for a long time! Your stories have only improved with the telling. I will spread the word to friends, glad to share such a fun find!

94) Mary - Christmas, Florida
I am reading the last of the Abby Cooper books (at least for now, I hope) and I just wanted to say that I love your fresh way of writing. I have thoroughly enjoyed both the Abby Cooper stories and the MJ Holliday ones. I certainly hope there are a lot more of both to come. Thanks for a great read!

93) Sherri - Anaheim, California
Victoria Laurie is one of those storytellers that you can get friends hooked on. You share the first book, and then they will want to buy the set...I did this with Psychic Eye and my friend Rebecca; now she's a devotee, too.

92) Rachel Teachout - Crofton, Maryland
I just finished staying up until 4 in the morning reading Demons Are a Ghouls Best Friend! It was fantastic. I just wanted to say that I love both the Psychic Eye and the Ghoul series. It's so hard to find good paranormal mysteries these days because many of them focus more on the romance than the actual mystery. So I'm practically drooling with anticipation for the next book to come out. Thank you so much for such awesome series!

91) Juan Rosales - Northridge, California
I just finished reading Demons are a Ghoul's best friend. It was wonderful. I have read everyone of Victoria's books and they always make me feel like I am seeing into another world and knowing that the other world will be full of love ones who do not leave us as much as move on to a place where they can watch over us and keep us in there hearts and souls. I thank god every day that I started reading these books and feel like Victoria is an old friend writing for me and me alone.

90) Carole Luksa - Middlesex, New Jersey
I purchased Better Read Than Dead a couple weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I went right Amazon and purchased every book written by VL and was not diappointed. The characters are interesting and are people you'd want to know. I can't wait for her next book. I hold down a full time job, go to school and manage to read a book a day. VL's book are a must! I wish there were more of them but I'm eagerly awaiting VL's September release.

89) Jan Scott - Waikato, New Zealand
I have read all your books and just can't wait until the 6th book. I am an addicted reader and love romantic suspense but yours are my favourite as I love the humour in them. Please don't stop writing them, they are so much fun to read and I can't put them down till they are finished. I wouldn't be surprised to see a TV series in the furure...just one thing you need to do different ...write then faster lol ...it's a long wait for the next one...oh and if Dutch gets shitty enough with Abby ...send him to me ..evil grin

88) Kim - Pensacola, Florida
Despite knowing that I had a full day of appointments, I stayed up last night to finish "Demons Are A Ghoul's Best Friend" ... IT WAS FABULOUS!!!! Truly truly fun ... in my humble little opinion it is Victoria's best work to date!!! I love M.J., Steven and Gilley! Thank you, Victoria for the grueling hours of writing, stressing ... writing and stressing even more! It was truly worth all of your hard work!! I haven't had to stay up and READ READ READ to the very last page since I read the last S. Meyer book.

And, as much as I feel guilty saying it ... Victoria, please KEEP WRITING!!!! Can't wait to hear the latest tales from M.J.!

Thanks for fun ...

87) Fiona Schofield - Lincolnshire, England
I have just read 'Abby Cooper Psychic Eye' and I am hooked, so much so that I have ordered the other 4 books from Amazon. The characters are amazing and there were several laugh out loud moments in the book. A brilliant book, best I have read in ages, I couldnt put it down. I have passed the book onto my friend, I am sure she will love it.

I am currently reading What's a Ghoul to Do? and again I LOVE IT - so I have ordered 'Demons are a Ghoul's Best Friend'. Anyway best get back to my book, its calling me!

86) Dick Henderson - Port Orchard, Washington
Demons are a Ghoul's Best Friend

In a diabolical twist of fate the phrase “better with time” occasionally does not carry the positive meaning most of us imagine. Like convicts who grow stronger and craftier doing time Hatchet Jack has had thirty years to hone his hatchet and attain stunning potency & wickedness in the netherworld behind his portal. Now he’s on our side of the portal threatening the future of young innocents. M.J. will have to put her friends at risk to force Hatchet Jack into the underworld and spike his portal shut forever; but, can she do it alone.

Victoria Laurie has upped the voltage in this sequel to “What’s a Ghoul to Do?” with crackling tension between planes of existence; and between the sexes. And her sense of humor sparkles in details such as magnetic armor & grenades, and Doc’s inspired vocabulary. This is a fun read for everyone!

85) Teri Spooner - Alma, Michigan
My daughter and I are great fans of yours. We found Abby Cooper on a trip to the bookstore. When I saw Royal Oak, I knew I had to read it...that's were my husband and I had our first date. We grew up in Southeastern Michigan and it was neat to read about all the places we know so well. I was surprised to read your bio and see that you were not from the area. I really enjoy your books, but my daughter is even a bigger fan. I know she sent her own testimonial, but she didn't include the poem she wrote for her creative writing class..."I need more Abby Cooper." This is a kid that has the most diverse book collection you'll ever see...Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, Gilmore Girls series, complete Narnia, Hemingway, Dickens, Frost, complete Alias series, Julie (Andrews) Edwards, and now all of your novels sit next to her all time favorite Shel Silverstein!

Thanks for the great reads, and enjoy her poem!!
I NEED MORE ABBY COOPER
by Alesha Spooner, Age 16
Alma, MI

I can hear it and feel it
In my ears
My heart pounding deep inside
My hands clutch the door handle
Pale knuckles turning ghost white
It seems like the car is going 100
The global VCR set on slow motion
on the outside

Fear playing the role of strangler
A noose tightening around my throat
I can hear myself screaming
Not being able to comprehend anything
Jumbled words tumbling from shivering lips
The thick, panic laden air clouding my voice
Its seems distant and muted
My ears not baring to hear my terror

I'm in a singular race
An elusive phantom tailing him
The speedometer increasing with my horror
I can see my chest heaving
Labored breaths sucking in useless air

Two hands controlled by some unknown force
He's staring at me talking
The words lost to deaf ears
Swerving and veering left like a lunatic
Barely missing the concrete pylon
His frantic yelps for survival guiding me

The frightened stare piercing my ghostly form
Screams filled my ears
Finally I could hear clearly,
"Alesha, we're here!"
The bookstore looms before me...
Yes!!
Another Abby Cooper book will soon be in my hands!

84) Alesha Spooner - Alma, Michigan
I'm a 16 year-old sophmore that was looking for something fun, but more substantial than the "cool girl" books that overflow the bookshops everywhere. I was having trouble finding anything when my mom spotted, "Abby Cooper Psychic Eye." She liked the cover, and subject -- so she flipped it over to see what it was about; that's when she saw Royal Oak, Michigan which is where she and my dad had their first date! She handed the book to me and said, "Try it, I've got a good feeling about this one." Thank you so much because I was immediately HOOKED! I finished that first book that night and wanted more....so I went online and bought the rest!! I read the next one, and let myself devour it like the first.....but now I've only got so many left that I'm going to ration them out. So, please keep writing!! Thank you so much.

83) Jam - Bangkok, Thailand
You know, you are 'very fantastic' in writing this Abby Cooper series *^ ^* (My love one in this series is Killer Insight) Like other people said, I'm one of them that really can't wait to read 'Death Perception'.

And because I know how great it is so I offered myself with the publishing house as a translator for Abby Cooper 3-5 in my country. Many people are waiting to read Abby Cooper out there!

Wish me luck!
And take care too, ok? Don't overwork. :]

82) Stephani Amstadter, MD - Williamsburg, Virginia
I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Abby and her whole group of family and friends. The books are great reads - funny, touching and sooo interesting. I always am sad when they are over and so excited to hear a new one is coming out. I wish you all the best and hope that you continue to write forever so that I have new things to look forward to!!

81) Peggy H - Gulfport, Mississippi
I am a HUGE Janet Evanovich fan and constantly looking for new books along that line! Unfortunately I've always been disappointed. But....Lucky me - I just found Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye!! I really enjoyed this book and made my list of the other four books to get!!

Thanks Victoria for your great writing and sense of humour!! I can't wait to get started on the other books!!

80) Kathy McBrair - Chula Vista, California
OMG!!!! I read all 5 of your Abby Cooper series. I can't wait for the next book "Death Perception" to come out.

I am going to start on the Ghost mysteries tonight, and can't wait.

Please keep writing these fantastic psychic books, I absolutely love them, as I'm certain, many of your fans are.

Thanks.

79) Michelle Ouellette - Las Vegas, Nevada
I have never enjoyed a series more than the Abby Cooper books! I read the first book maybe 2 years ago and could not find the second book. It was always in my mind when I went to the bookstore but I would either forget Victoria's last name or Abby Coopers name. 2 weeks ago, I was at Borders and it hit me! Victoria Laurie! So I went to the mystery section and to my absolute delight, I bought books 2,3,4 and 5! I am about 2 chapters away from finishing Crime Seen and am starting early withdrawal knowing I will have a long wait for another Abby Cooper book! Luckily, I was at Borders again tonight and found What's A Ghoul To Do! I am very excited about reading a new series. Thank you so much Victoria for writing these fabulous books that have a little bit of everything!

78) Lucretia Denhardt - Santa Cruz, California
I'm 66 years old and an avid reader. I saw KILLER INSIGHT on the shelf at my local library and not knowing title, author or anything about the book, I picked it up because I liked the PINK of the flower on the book cover. After reading that one book, I went back to my library and asked them to get me every thing you have ever written. I just finished the second book WHAT'S A GHOUL TO DO? I will be SURE to read each and every word of each of your books, and have a wonderful time doing so. I really enjoy your bright, light and funny way of putting in print your gift of sight through your powerful Psychic Eye. I will be buying your books and passing them on to my granddaughter. I LOVE your ability to laugh at some of the "strange" events in working your profession. Because I wish I had had people in my young life to have encouraged and empowered me, I will do for my grandchild what I would have liked to have someone do for me. I will have her read your books and accept, appreciate, laugh and enjoy any "gifts" she may have in this area. Thank you for your inspiration.

77) Alissa braggins - San Antonio, Texas
I was on Barnes and Nobles website looking for a new book to read when I saw Crime Seen, clicking on the link I saw that it was a series. I am always loving a good series and really hadn't found a good one in a while. I wrote down the names and of the books and went to my local used book store, lucked out and found the first one! I got home and started reading it, a third of the way through I knew that I had to get the rest. I was half way through when I checked out b&n again to see if my local one had anymore, in which they did have the second one! At 3/4 of the way I got up, grabbed my purse went to b&n and bought the whole series. I have read all but the last one in less than 24 hours, and I can't wait to re-read them again! If you are even thinking about starting to read one you should! You won't regret it! The characters are so alive, I haven't laughed this hard since reading Agnes and the Hitman. You will either be laughing, or on the edge of your seat the whole time! I hope you enjoy!

76) Susan Schroeder - North Bend, Oregon
I absolutely loved your Psychic Eye series. I purchased all five books and read one after the other in immediate succession. I cannot wait for the sixth one to appear. Thank you so much!

75) Dick Henderson - Port Orchard, Washington
The mystery world has many excellently drawn leading ladies. These women cover the gamut from savvy & sharp private investigators {Sharon McCone, Tess Monaghan, Kinsey Millhone, V.I. Warshawski & Kate Shugak} to less traditional sleuths {Park Ranger Anna Pigeon; B&B proprietor Judith Flynn; newspaper owner Emma Lord; book store owner Annie Darling; school psychologist Skye Denison; dogsled musher Jessie Arnold; & the outrageously comic bounty hunter Stephanie Plum}. Now, Abby Cooper, Psychic Intuitive stands tall; head and shoulders with these crime solvers. Abby is masterfully written; a wonderfully believable mixture: smart, vulnerable, feisty, empathic as well as the obvious - intuitive. Good mystery sleuths require more than determination, skill and luck; they need supporting characters as foils to their personalities and abilities. Victoria Laurie has created a very effective supporting cast for Abby; my favorites being Dave {who I tend to identify with} and especially, Cat. I met Abby & Cat somewhat by accident in the novella “Blind Sighted” when I bought "Drop Dead Blonde". I was so intrigued by Abby and captivated by Cat that I rushed to buy the five Abby Cooper books. Support characters like Abby’s sister Cat and Judith Flynn’s cousin Renie are the ingredients that transform a good series to a great series. I would dearly love to see a collaboration between Victoria Laurie and Mary Daheim; maybe have Abby visit Seattle and stay at Judith’s bed-and-breakfast. Abby and Judith could good naturedly wrangle over solving the murder while Cat and Renie would be instant friends having a ball spending money.

74) Susan Holmes - Farmington, Utah
Thanks for Psychic Eye, loved your story, characters. First book in ages I couldn't put down.

73) Janet Workman - Altavista, Virginia
I am an avid reader of almost every subject but yours is one I have always been interested in. I am now reading the first in your ghost busting series and have read all of the Abby Cooper books except "Crime Seen", which is on my coffee table waiting for me. I don't have the words to tell you just how much FUN I have reading your books. PLEASE, PLEASE write many more. The sooner, the better. You keep writing and I'll keep reading. Thanks for the good times.

72) Tracy Cabe - Napili, Hawaii
Victoria does it again with Crime seen! I had to read the book in the middle of the night (a couple of nights anyway) since I am back in school. You know how hard it is to read Crime Seen and laugh my butt off and try not to wake hubby in the process? Sooooo Worth it!!!

71) Abreanna Jacobs - Troy, Ohio
I love Victoria Laurie's books. They are awesome! Perfect to keep someone on the edge of their seats. Keep on writing Victoria. I'm so excited i'm getting your new book for my birthday. Go september!

70) Kaneshiro Kenji - Singapore
I chanced upon 'Abby Cooper: Psychic Eye' and I loved it. It's evenly paced and has just the perfect mix of mystery, suspense, comic and romance! I have declared it on my LiveJournal's friends' entry as a "Chick Lit meets Perry Mason". I can't wait to read the rest of the Psychic Eye series! :)

69) Diane Watson - Sevierville, Tennessee
I love reading. I love mysteries...suspense...but all too often the mysteries...aka suspense...are dark...pyschological stories. Victorias' books.. both series are fun, suspenseful and they keep you guessing. I have read my whole life...every spare moment...look so forward to Victorias' books. Keep them coming...I tell everyone I get the chance to!!

68) Katie Meyers - Phoenix, Arizona
A few nights ago I was in my local Barnes and Nobles and I was looking for one of Ms. Laurie's books, I had just finished the new novel about M.J. a week ago and I wanted to see how much she had published since I fell in love with spirted M.J. so quickly.

Abby Cooper, I have finished the first two books in just as many days and my husband would like me to go to sleep sometime before 3am since we both have jobs and our kids to look after. My house work, job, and 1 year old have been slightly lonley the last couple of days. It is a good thing Dad is home to pick up the slack and my stepdaughter is old enough to get her own meals.....I love the books and cannot wait until the book store opens up tomorrow so I can get the next book.

Thank you for such an awesome talent and your willingness to share it with those who do not have the chance to visit with you personally.

67) Shiloh Banter - Poneto, Indiana
Dear Victoria, my name is Shiloh and I am 12. And I wanted too tell you that I LOVE your books so much. And I hope that you keep writeing more!!! And I heard about your new book and I just had to order it. And I can't wait to read it.

66) Chele Watson - Ocala, Florida
I've just discovered your Abby Cooper series and have read the first two books. As soon as I read the first one I hopped online as fast as I could boot up my computer and ordered all the other books written by you. I love your writing style and find myself laughing out loud throughout your books. I pastthe first two books on to my mother and have told several of my friends about the series and they too are either reading the series or waiting on their books to arrive. Please keep them coming!

65) Nicole P. - Trenton, New Jersey
A few years ago, I had wrote to you and recieved a wonderful response back . Not only are you a wonderful writer, you are very sweet. I just finished reading "Whats a ghoul to do?" and of course I LOVED IT! I can't wait for more of your books. There addicting. Keep up the good work! Hopefully sometime in the future, I can also get a reading. I'm sure that would be wonderful as well!

64) Tracy Cabe - Napili, Hawaii
After reading Killer Insight, I rushed to the other side of the island (Maui) to the bookstore and snatched up all of your other books. I just laughed at Abby's child-like temper tantrums and was very intertained by the stories you wrote Victoira! I can't believe we have to wait until September for the next one....Waaaaaa! Keep writing your Abby mysteries cause I am anxiously awaiting for em!

63) Joelle Peterson - Genesee, Wisconsin
So talented! I love reading these books! This is how it goes for me: I am ELATED to buy another of V. Laurie's new books, then I can't wait to to bed at night to gobble them up, then I stay up too late because I can't put them down, and THEN....I am so disappointed that I've finished the book! I wish it would just keep going. These books are a morsel of gooey, melted dark chocolate after eating nothing but dry saltines! Just finished "What's a Ghoul to Do?"....Guess now I have to go back to saltines until the next book is out! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents, Victoria!

62) Amanda - San Antonio, Texas
Back with another testimonial! (see #44 for first) I just read "What's a Ghoul to do?" and absolutely LOVED it! I was intrigued by M.J. when she showed up in the Psychic Eye mysteries and had always wished she had been explored a little more, boy was I in for a treat with this book! Now you've got 2 series I'm absolutely hooked on! I just hope I can survive the waiting time between new releases. I'll just shove the books in friend's faces in the mean time I suppose. Keep up the great work and best wishes!

61) Pascale - Ottawa, ON
I picked up "Abby Psychic eye" on a trip to Syracuse. I had put it aside for my 3 weeks in the UK which I just return from. If I thought the back of the book was interesting, when I got started on the actual book it was hard to put down - who cared about visiting London and Oxford! Abby hit a chord with me on so many levels and raised some questions I've had for awhile. I have been thinking about the book since I sadly finished it, but I just picked up the 2nd of the Abby collection (which I had a hard time locating in the UK) which I cannot wait to start on. Abby is a breath of fresh air and I love how you bring her gift to the forefront and make it a thing to not feel afraid of but to embrace. I am sooo looking forward to reading the rest of the Abby series and see what this fabulous character will do next and where she will bring me. Thank you for creating such a series.

60) Linda Blum - Evansville, Wyoming
I just discovered Ms. Laurie's books! Wow! I am a voracious reader and I love books that combine humor with a touch of real, live people in them. I believe in the "extra" senses and love mysteries! Ms. Laurie's books are rare in that I can completely loose myself in her characters. I have several authors that I re-read on a regular basis, Mercedes Lackey (sci-fi fantasy), Anne George (who has since left us for the other side), and Dorothea Benton Frank (Low Country Tales). I am now adding Ms. Laurie to that category. Thank you for writing about the extra senses with simplicity, honesty and humor. That is as important as the pleasure that can be obtained from your books!

59) Rafaela Torres-Mcmillian - Richmond, Virginia
I have truly enjoyed your psychic eye novels! Please don't stop. You have a good formula there, very original plot.

58) Amber - Marana, Arizona
A fan of paranormal books I can't believe I just now came across the Abby books! The mystery plots keep the books moving and it is hard to put the books down once you open them! I love books that are in a series and I look forward to following Abby's future! I can't wait to do a psychic reading!

57) Sally Ingram - Ilfeld, New Mexico
What's a ghoul to do? Why she can get involved with ghosts and Dr. Delicious. What fun. This new series is just as much fun as the Psychic Eye series. Too bad we have to wait till 2008 for the next instalment.

56) Kristie - San Diego, California
Victoria is one talented lady - both as a psychic and author! I absolutely tore through the first four Abigail Cooper books in one month, and last night I purchased What's A Ghoul To Do. Abigail Cooper fans, pick up this book as well - MJ is another sassy one and lots of fun! I need toothpicks in my eyes this morning because I couldn't put it down last night. I can't wait for the next ones and will definately be using Amazon's pre-order option so it arrives on my doorstep the day of release!

55) Betty Stocking - Murrieta, California
Pure genius!! This latest book from Victoria Laurie grabs your attention from the first page and goes on to hold you captive 'til the last one. M.J. Holliday is a great character with psychic abilities similar to Abbey Cooper ( from the Psychic Eye series) but also the facility to help lost souls to 'cross over' to the other side. Together with her business partner Gilley, and the De-vilishly De-lish Dr. Steven Sable, who hires M.J. to investigate his grandfather's alleged 'suicide' leap from the upper floors of the family's hunting lodge, their adventures are rivetting. The scientifically-minded Doctor is initially sceptical of M.J.'s abilities to contact the departed but is soon convinced and joins the pair on their 'ghost busting' adventure. I love the way these characters have been developed, well rounded, likeable and true to life. You will NOT be disappointed with this first book in the series, or indeed any of her previous books!! Loooooooved it !!!!!!!!!!!

54) Kelly - Tampa, Florida
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new book. Just started reading it and I swear I could not put it down but 5am and chapter 9 I decided to stop and share my love for your books. I swear when I saw it on the shelf of were I work, I let out a squeel of delight. I then went on to sell your last three books to a very nice lady. She would have bought this one but because I had not read it she decided to wait and see if she liked the first 3. YOUR AWESOME! Just promise that you will not stop the first one. I have to know what happens with the guy. I hope you can keep up both, just so lovely and AMAZING! Wow a lot came from my military deployment and one was your books. Not big on mystery but diffently big on your books! KEEP IT UP!!!

53) Brenda Ellis - Conroe, Texas
I have read all of the Abby Cooper books and just finished the new book in the Ghostbuster series. I can't get enough! Please keep Abby and MJ coming. I told my best friend about them and she is as excited about them as I am. We read until we finish them and then wait anxiously for the next one. Great work and we really appreciate it. Thanks!

52) Caroline L. Craig - Arlington, Virginia
I just finished "What's a Ghoul to Do?" - first in the new Ghost Hunter series. I HAD to write and say that - Victoria Laurie - you have outdone yourself! While I LOVE the Psychic Eye series, I think I'm going to love this new series as much as, if not more than that!! There is humor in your book but it's not "pie in the face" - and it's very witty with Steven's misuse of English! I loved how MJ is in control with her ghost busting but still human enough to be somewhat uncertain in her personal relationship. And I love the whole premise of the series. I read this book in two days and am already looking forward to the next one (as well as the next Psychic Eye book). Thank you so much for giving this voracious reader some great stories to read! Congratulations and all the best to you!

51) Abreanna - Troy, Ohio
Hey, I'm in the middle of reading your new book. I love it! Although i would have to say i'm dieing to read your new Abby Cooper book. I can't wait until it comes out. Plus it's great it's coming out near my birthday. Can you say birthday present? Haha just kidding just alittle dumb teen humor. I like your books alot more than the dumb books that most teenagers are reading, i find them really boring. Very few books hold my interst and your do. Great job!

50) Keri Mcguire - Northlake, Illinois
Okay, I didn't think I would like the books, because I am not big on the books from the library that have the "Mystery" sticker on the book bind. I himhaud about reading Abby Cooper Psychic Eye, and decided to give a shot, and I must tell you I now cannot put the book down! I hope all the others will be the same for me. Thanks alot, and keep up the great writing.

49) Catherine Mooney - Stockton, California
I've read all of Victoria's books and love them. In fact, I liked them so much that I have referred them to friends and added them to our "lending library." I only wish she could write faster! I was intrigued by Abby, so looked up this website and found out Victoria does reading! Gave those as Christmas presents this year and also got one for myself. Cheers to a gutsy lady with a great sense of humor.

48) Juliana Cobb - Anchorage, Alaska
Yesterday I boarded a plane in Chicago for a six hour flight back to Anchorage, AK. I had been traveling on business for five days and was bone tired of the trip. While I was happy to be returning home, I dreaded the six hour flight cramped into coach (couldn't upgrade to First and my budget won't stretch to full First Class purchase). The flight was packed, as is the norm for travel in and out of Alaska. I do this often, but each time I board I feel like a vienna sausage being stuffed into its can.

Upon takeoff, I pulled out Victoria's new book, What's a Ghoul To Do. I had bought the book when it first arrived on bookshelves but had saved it until now. To be honest, I was reluctant to read it. I am very fond of the Abby, Psychic Eye series and was not sure I wanted to try something new. (In my last evaluation I was marked down for being slow to embrace change. Personally, I think it depends upon the change. The businessman who wrote my evaluation is gone now; I'm embracing that.)

The first few pages intrigued me, and I kept reading. It wasn't long before I knew that I loved M.J. I just loved her. She is honest, open, enough self-deprecating to be endearing, yet honest enough to know she can do something special that others cannot. I like the eplanation of her being the only hearing person in a world full of deaf people.

I connected with Gilley and Dr. Delicious is just that--oh my, what incredible English he has.

It was a night flight, and the plane was pretty quiet with people sleeping away the hours. So imagine my embarrassment when I laugh out loud, with some gusto, when Gilley breaks his fairy tail. The poor passenger seated next to me was an elder gentleman, a very very elder gentleman, on oxygen no less. I scared him so badly with my guffawing that for a split second I believe he stopped breathing. I had just enough time to think about whether I was really happy that I was certified in how to do CPR when he gasped a breath. After that and in response to the stern ssshing I got from the flight attendant who had come to the elder gentleman's rescue, I made a point not to share any more unsolicited editorials about Victoria's book.

I read slow so as to savor the ride and made the book last the entire trip what with re-reading some parts a couple or three times. We had a head wind. The trip took a full six hours.

When I deplaned, I was humming the song, "what a ghoul wants/what a ghoul needs/whatever makes her happy and sets her free." What a great flight thanks to Victoria, and I eagerly await the next in the series.

Thank you, Victoria. Way to go.

47) Pam Sadler - San Rafael, New Mexico
I have just finished the series, except for the latest "What's a Ghoul to do" This is an absolutely FANTASTIC series. Abby Cooper's adventures are like Murphy's Law in action. with a side of sullivan's law, which says murphy was an optimist! Hilarious Laugh out loud roller coaster ride! I hope you continue to write as quickly as possible. (Hint, Hint)

46) Jina Michelle Gibbs - New Bern, North Carolina
I love to read and Victoria Laurie has become a fast favorite of mine. I picked up "Abby Cooper: Physic Eye" less than two weeks ago. I was hooked instantly and have read all four of the series in record time. I wasn't able to put the books down for very long, even reading while stirring my spaghetti sauce (which I wouldn't recommend by the way, guilty of sauce stains on a couple pages). Abby and her sister, Cat, remind me of my sister and myself. Victoria is a very talented writer and I cannot wait until the 5th in the series hits the store. Keep up the good work.

45) Janeen - Kent, Washington
I've found your books at the local library while searching for something different other than the usual mystery novel. I'm in a phase right now of reading anything that makes you really wonder, hmmmm...... So, reading the back of A Vision of Murder, well, that was the hook! I just thought, wow, this is a must read! Well, I'm a HUGE fan now. I've read all the books and cannot wait for the new one. Thanks for all the great characters and I look forward to your fun blogs as well! That's my favorite part of the website. : )

44) Amanda - San Antonio, Texas
I was on another book binge and mom had left Killer Insight laying out and after reading the back in passing I couldn't resist, picked it up and never put it down till it was done (turns out I stole it before mom even had a chance to read it), well after that I harassed her to find the other 3 previous books among her cluttered, out of order bookcases and in a matter of a week I'd finished them and sadly had to move on to consume more texts but I'm eagerly awaiting Crime Seen and am deeply considering picking up the non-abby books. Anyway I just wanted to thank you for sharing all your gifts with the world and wish you continued success! Abby Cooper, and yourself, have quickly made their way up to the top of my heroines list.

43) Wendy Silva - New York, New YorK
I am reading Killer Insight right now and I have basically eaten up all the Abby books. I love Abby, Dutch, eggy, Milo and the rest fo the gang. It's the perfect blend of quirkiness and mystery. I can't wait for more Abby.

42) Linda Brue - Elk River, Minnesota
I'm currently reading KILLER INSIGHT, and I've read the three previous books. I absolutely love them! Abby is such a cool character, and the books are so well-plotted and fun to read--just the perfect balance between humor and mystery (and I love Eggy!) Please keep writing them, Victoria! Sometimes I need good reads like this just to keep going (I suffer from depression). I can't say "Thank You" enough!

41) Joyce Waugh - North Mrtle Beach, South Carolina
I just finished Better Read Than Dead. I have done nothing but read since I picked this book up. I just had to finish it. It was so compelling and informative about how a psychic might work. Your web site is very easy to use and helpful also. I am trying to schedule a reading now. It was your book that convinced me.

40) Laurie Pooler Pelayo - Gardena, California
I found your book at Borders and instantly fell in love with the premise. I am a firm believer in intuition (sometimes I have a strong sense of something being amiss - and am usually right - to the consternation of my family!) and psychic abilities. I thought how you presented Abby, will help others to understand how a psychic works and maybe think about something beyond what we see and feel every day. As both a reader and a writer I enjoyed your characters, as both believable and a lot of fun. Keep up the good work. I read your book in two days and will be back at Borders to get the next installment ASAP.

39) Victoria Puglia - Brooklyn, New York
I was first introduced to the Psyhic Eye Mystery series thanks to AMazon.Com's Recomendations based on your previous orders. I read the plot outline, and instantly ordered all of the current Abby Cooper books - and fell in love ... with the characters, the plot, everything! I seriously cannot wait for the next book(s) to come out! From one Victoria to another ... GOOD JOB!

38) Zaida Alfaro - Miami, Florida
I just finished Killer Insight!!!! It was an addicting read. Thanks for adding excitment, laughs, and mystery to my nights. Can't wait for the next one!!!!

37) Elsie Campbell - Dothan, Alabama
Just finished Better Read Than Dead. I read it in two nights. I couldn't put in down. What an enjoyable way to finish a busy day. (MY TIME). Thank you for sharing a wonderful story. I can't wait to read the next 4.

36) Lisa Sharik - Austin, Texas
I am a voracious reader. I picked up the first Abby mystery 5 days ago and have finished the first 3 books and am deep into the most recent one. I love plot driven mysteries. Trying to figure out "who done it" and your books definitely make me want to stay up all night reading to finish them. I'm looking forward to your next books including the spin off one "what's a ghoulto do" I will be recommending the books to my fellow reading fiends.

35) Molly McGath - Tucson, Arizona
I picked up one of your books at the library on a whim about a week ago and I haven't been able to put the books down until now, as I've just finished the latest installment to date, Killer Instinct. I'll definitely be in line to purchase your next book. Reading your work has given me a lot to think about, thanks.

33) Rhonda Kalman - Shelburne, Vermont
I would like to send along my gratitude and praise for the Psyhic Eye Mystery series. Each one has provided a blissful escape and vicarious adventure for me. I am an advid mystery series reader and Abby (also, my daughter's name) is one of my very favorites, right up there with the infamous, Ms. Marple. I feel I enjoy and identify with Ms. Laurie's writing so much because I grew up in a subperb of Detriot and my sister is, also, a psychic. Thank you for all your hard work and sharing your talents. Your writings have provided me with the comfort of a "good book". Sincerely.

31) Cindy Kirk - Belden, Mississippi
I have just finished reading "Better Read Than Dead". I received this book from Paperback Swap as a trade. I was hooked from the first mention of Eggy, here is someone who really knows dachshunds and and their behavior. I have a mini-dashie named Kommicker(commedian in German), so I could relate. I also loved the adventure and found the psychic to be believable. Will be reading all of your books.

30) Kristi Gee - Belgrade, Montana
I love the Abby Cooper series. I picked up Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye a couple of months ago and absolutely loved it. I had to go back right away and get the rest of the series. All of the other characters in the book are wonderful too. I hope that there are going to be many more Abby books and can't wait for the next one to come out! I see that there is a new series about M.J. coming soon and am excited to read about her!

29) Carole K. Minke - Shaftsbury, Vermont
I had never heard of Victoria Laurie or had any interest in psychic stuff until I found some of her books under a bed while cleaning a house. I love mysteries, though, so they looked like something to check out at the library. I began with the first book in the series, and immediately I got hooked. It started with my birthday (May 28), mentioned a cop named Bennington (where I was born, and contained the number 1865--research into Civil War activities of forebears led me back to Bennington and a marble marker was placed in the church cemetery there. I felt connected and read on. . . . It was fascinating, the mix of facts and fiction. I had an Aunt Connie (whom I never met) but was said to be clairvoyant. I had some success with seances and moving wooden furniture, but I had no idea what all this was really about. I dislike circus sideshow gimmicks and don't trust people much in general. . . . I realized halfway through the first book that Laurie was sincere. I agreed with her definitions, advice, and values. After I finished the book, I thought that I should trust my intuitimore in future--it had never led me astray, but ignoring it had in devastating ways! One evening after taking a shower and getting ready for bed, I decided to look for my aura. I took a small oval mirror off the wall and held it up to my head and shoulders. After a few minutes of watching the rosy glow from the firelight, I saw brilliant sapphire blue appear over my left shoulder, then amethyst over my right shoulder. I looked back at the blue, then the purple, and was amazed: the colors were like flickering gemstones on fire from within! I was a bit scared, but later looked up the colors in her book to discover their significance. I was very surprised to learn that they meant clairvoyance and clairsentience, and they appeared in her aura, too! I am so thankful for her explanation and encouragement; her books are both educational as well as entertaining. She is a many talented author and psychic intuitive!

28) Sharon Collins - Tupelo, Mississippi
I work one day a week in a used book store (Book Rack of Tupelo, MS), and I read lots and lots: mostly mystery and fantasy. I ran across the 1st Abby book in the store last Saturday. Not having anything particularly interesting to read at the moment, I started it during a slow time of the day. I Loved it! Usually, I just keep an eye out for other books by the same author or series in the book store, but I couldn't wait for the rest of the Abby series to show up, and I've ordered them through Barnes & Noble.com, including used copies of the ones that B&N didn't have in stock. I can't wait to get them. Thank you for something new and different and lots of fun.

27) Natasha Epperson - Houston, Texas
Lately I've been completely into mysteries. Especially if they have a supernatural bent to them. I stumbled across your books two months ago on amazon, got the first one and I've been hooked. When I got each one, I could NOT put them down. I'm now on "Killer Insight" and been sneaking trips to the bathroom at work to read a page lol. Can't wait to get home and finish it off. Anyways thank you so much for a fun series of books and count another fan to your collection and a fan that will definitely recommend you!

26) Rosa Ficko - Edmonton, AB Canada
Scouting all the books at the library, I saw Killer Insight and thought this seems like a good book. Well, good doesn't even describe it! It was wonderful! I could not put the book down. Once I found out that you had written more, I went back and read the first two. I truly enjoy them just as much as some other authors such as Janet Evanovich and Jennifer Crusie to made two. I am an avid reader and I can't wait for more of your books. Keep it up!

25) Cindy - Clinton Township, Michigan
Just finished Killer Insight! Best one yet!

24) Cherie Ausgotharp - Salt Lake City, Utah
I just read, "Better Read than Dead", and had to immediately go purchase the remaining books in the series; can't wait to start reading them. Thanks for the hours of entertainment. You have joined my list of favorite authors, right up there with Janet Evanovich! Please keep writing!!!

23) Shelby - Phoenix, Arizona
I have been hooked on your books and Abby since I happened to pick up Better Read than Dead. You were my favorite writer in the book, so I went searching for more. I have read all 4 of your books in addition to this one. I buy them immediately and read them as soon as they arrive; and am immediately left wishing for more. I had hoped to put one on my Christmas or Birthday list and checked today to see how much longer. I look forward to your upcoming book and am thinking about calming my Abby cravings with an early birthday reading instead. Like Abby, you have such and approachable persona that it is hard to resist. I wish you and Abby continued success in all aspects of your lives and look forward to reading more about you both. And I especially look forward to seeing Abby surprise some unsuspecting person with insight into their lives. I love when she does that -- I think I would.

22) Sally Ingram - Ilfeld, New Mexico
All 4 books are great. I couldn't read them fast enough. Now I have to wait until next year for another one. It will be a great Birthday present. I'm going to be first in line to read the new series too. Thanks Victoria for the snappy Abby character.

21) Jennifer - Thornton, Colorado
I absolutlely love your books. I ran across them in a book store and got hooked. You are an amazing writer and I hope you never stop. I look forward to your books every time I go to the bookstore. Once I read them (usually in about a day), I get very anxious until the next one comes out. I've recently hooked my mother on your books and she can't put them down either! Thank you for everything that you do!!!

20) Ella Crow - Melbourne, Florida
I just purchased two of your books before heading home for the Thanksgiving Holidays for something to read on the plane trip. I was absolutely bowled over by the subject matter and felt the information and storyline clicked. When I returned to Florida I had to hunt down your other books because they were sooo enjoyable. Thanks for the terriffic read and the matter of fact honesty to the storyline and your profession. I just wish there were 12 books already written.

19) Jenn Wilson - Augusta, Georgia
I LOVE these books. My favorite thing about Abby Cooper is how natural and "real" her life is dispite her gift. I think the books are fun because things are not always perfect between her and Dutch and I really like the description of the way Abby and her crew are really partners. The writing is well done and the subject matter is intriguing. I really feel like Abby is the kind of gal I could hang with. The only thing you don't do well is write quickly enough! Just kidding! Here is to waiting for the next Abby Cooper, in the meantime I am really psyched (opps I seriously did not mean to make the pun!) for the first ghost hunter book to come out. I am planning to pre order on amazon. I am glad you are still expanding, you really have a great voice and I enjoy your writing so much... thanks for all your hard work. Peace!

18) Josette - West Springfield, Massachuset
Dear Victoria, I found you in the Library at their ongoing book sale, wow! I never expected to get such pleasure out of a book! I love Janet Ivanovich but I have to admit: You are better! Thank you for making a lonely senior's nights to go by so quickly. I am heading for Barnes and Noble with the list of your other books!!

17) Rose Dufault - Gaffney, South Carolina
Killer Insight is the best book yet though all four are great. I really thought you might be sending Abby to her psychic reward, especially when you showed a new series to be premiering. Again, I hope you never get tired of writing because we will never get tired of reading. Thank you for a lot of suspenseful hours.

16) Kelly - Tampa, Florida
I can't wait for the next one, hope it's not to long of a wait. I LOVE THEM!!! I work at Borders and when anyone asks about books of mystery or second sight types of books, well I always tell them about yours. Love talking about things I know about and can gush on how great they are. Given I can never put them down and read them in one day. LOVE IT! You are amazing, and my friend who bought the first book for my birthday, it was definitely a God moment! THANK YOU!!

15) Laura - Pilot, Virginia
I just finished the latest Abby Cooper book - WOW! It was the best so far. I read it too quickly! You have definitely grown as a writer and I look forward to more of your books. I stumbled on your first book by chance. Then, read the next and so on. But the last one was sooooo much fun! Granted, I also liked the book when Abby encountered a ghost. Ghosts are always cool. Toss in a few for me next time, okay? ;) And Eggie rocks. I loved the "squeaky" toy reference (Dave gave Eggie lots of squeaky toys). I totally did that at my house one time. Okay, a few times. Thanks for the fun! Good job.

14) Melissa - Swoyersville, Pennsylvania
I started reading you books and love them. I have bought them all now, I can't wait until your next one comes out. Your books are so intertesting and just plain fun to read. I think you are a very talented writer, I hope your series continues for a long time to come.

13) Linda B. - Manchester, Missouri
Loved the new book, Killer Insight. It's funny, but since I've had a reading I now know that you write just like you speak. Looking forwrd to Drop Dead Blonde and your next Abby Cooper book. Keep up the good work.

12) Dawn Pagano - Greensboro, North Carolina
Recently relocated to North Carolina from Michigan, I was feeling a bit down and homesick. So, I decided to head over to the only Borders in town to find a new mystery to read. Imagine my surprise and delight to find not only a great new series but one set in Royal Oak, my old stomping ground! I can't tell you how much I enjoy the series. You've given me a little bit of home but it is A LOT more exciting than my experiences there. Thanks, Victoria. Can't wait to read the last book. I'm on my way back to Borders!

11) Kristin Balint - Northville, Michigan
I work at a metro-Detroit Barnes & Noble. One day on my break, I was perusing the mystery section, and I saw your books. I picked up the first one, read the back, and was so intrigued by a book set in Royal Oak, Michigan, a city I know and love, that I had to pick it up. I read it that night, and immediately bought the rest of the series the next time I worked (the next day). I absolutely love them! Thank you for writing such great books that really show off wonderful parts of Michigan. I think they are amazing! I cannot wait to tell my mom and her friends about them. I am sure they will love them as much as I do.

10) Patricia Bush - Surrey, England
My daughter picked one of your books for me in Borders when we were in Washington DC, As usual it was the cover she liked and as usual it was a good choice. I will be back in the US later in the year but I cannot wait so Amazon UK have had to supply me . The books are a great read and have a different story line. Keep writing and may be visit the UK.

9) Judith Renda - Montreal, Quebec
I had a Doctor appointment and decided to buy a book at the volunteer centre at the hospital. I picked up "Better Read than Dead" and by the time I finished at the Doctor I had already read half the book. Since then I have bought "Abby Cooper Psychic Eye" (which I just finished tonight) & "A Vision of Murder" (which I started right after). My daughters are waiting to read them, so is my sister, friends & cousin. I haven't enjoyed reading a book as much as these in a very long time. Thank you so much for all the wonderful emotions while reading your books. Please don't stop writing about Abby.

8) Abreanna - Troy, Ohio
Oh my miss. Laurie. I read Better Read Then Dead. Your book is sooo great. I was vactioning in Michigan and found your book. At first i didn't really want to read it because my mother picked it out. Then after i started reading it I couldn't put it down. I finished it in two days. I love your book I hope to get the whole series. Lol I loved your thing about Joe lol. Miss F.B.I'm a whore. i couldn't stop laughing. Keep on righting Victoria. I love your book.

7) Hannah Jefferson - Clarksville, Maryland
As soon as I started reading Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye, I became immediately hooked. I'm not sure exactly what makes the books so entertaining to read-- maybe it's your writing style, or just the plotline itself. But whatever you're doing, keep it up! I've now read all three Abby Cooper books, and can't wait to read your next one coming out in the fall. Please keep writing!

6) Kelly - West Haven, Connecticut
A few friends and I have a book blog and it was my month to pick. One of my friends devours mysteries and I wanted something she hadn't read before. I love cozy mysteries especially with women detectives. Abby fit the bill. While my mystery loving friend hadn't read this before she had heard of it. And the both of us are VERRRRY picky about what we read. Not only did we agree that Abby Cooper Psychic Eye was a great first book we bought the next two. (Rare for us!) They are well paced with great characters and interesting. I can't wait for the next one and am looking forward to M.J.

5) Jennifer - Shelby Township, Michigan
A friend gave me Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye and I read it on a long drive home along I-75. I loved it. The story itself was fun and exciting, but I also loved that you used locations in the Detroit area and I could identify with them. Great job - can't wait to read them all!!!

4) Rebecca - Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey
Dear Victoria, I just finished your book, Abby Cooper Psychic Eye. It's the first book of yours I have read, and I really enjoyed it. It was funny, suspenseful and so easy to read. Also, it was incredibly interesting to read a story from the perspective of an intuitive. I am looking forward to reading more of your books. Thank you.

3) Diane Watson - Tampa, Florida
I picked up the first Abby Cooper book and didn't put it down until I was done with the book...as soon as I finished it I was in my car heading to the book store to get the other ones. I read the second one just as fast. The third one I have not started yet because I didn't want to have to wait that long for her next book to come out. I am eagerly waiting for August so I can read her third book just in time to get her fourth book. I love the character...she is funny, warm, and real. I have not enjoyed a series of books as much as I have Abby Cooper. Please...Please keep writing them. : )

2) Penelope Munyan - Thousand Oaks, California
I was born in Mich and returned there as an adult 8 years ago and stayed for 3 years. My cousin form Royal Oak just visited and brought me you three books. We went on a 7 day cruise I read the book. I found them very entertaining and really enjoyed them. I like reading and recognizing the area the books are written about, Royal Oak. I am a very mediphyical person so enjoy the psychic tales of Abby. I look forward to future works and will read them all. Keep up the good work. I like your easy style, you tell a good story and they are fun to read.

1) SheilaV - Glendale, Arizona
Ms. Laurie, I love your books. They are entertaining and insightful. The psychic world has always intrigued me. I think you're great and keep those books coming!
